Using AI Data in ChatGPT

Use the normal ChatGPT message box. AI Data works with ordinary language; there is no separate command language or internal ID syntax to learn.

Open AI Data in ChatGPT

The recommended normal entry phrase is Open AI Data.

The typical flow is: enter Open AI Data, find the attached ProSimulo AI Data card, click Enter ProSimulo AI Data, and confirm that PiP displays the compact AI Data active header. If the card first displays an Open AI Data button, use it, then use Enter ProSimulo AI Data when it appears.

Assistant prose alone saying that AI Data is active is not the controlling indication. The attached AI Data presentation and successful app operation are the practical indicators.

Direct app invocation

Explicit app invocation is also supported. For example:

  • @ProSimulo AI Data List my AI Data items.
  • @ProSimulo AI Data Open AI Data

ChatGPT may keep the app selected in the conversation, allowing later ordinary requests without selecting it again. That persistence is a convenience and is not guaranteed across refreshes, other chats or Projects, browser restarts, devices, accounts or ChatGPT plans. Invoking @ProSimulo AI Data again can help target the app in a healthy conversation, but @ invocation is not guaranteed to reset a stale conversation.

AI Data PiP and AI Data Web

PiP provides a continuous visible AI Data session alongside ChatGPT and supports workflows that depend on active-session state. Keep the PiP window available while you work in the associated ChatGPT conversation.

To browse AI Data Web when PiP is not being used, go directly to https://prosimulo.com/review. Direct app invocation, PiP, and AI Data Web have distinct practical roles.

ChatGPT may occasionally leave submitted text visible in the composer while the app remains selected. That interface behavior does not by itself mean the request failed.

Supported entry and re-entry wording

Open AI Data is recommended. The following are accepted natural-language examples, not a rigid command language:

  • Open AI Data
  • Open ProSimulo AI Data
  • Enter AI Data
  • Enter ProSimulo AI Data
  • Show AI Data
  • Show ProSimulo AI Data
  • Launch AI Data
  • Reopen AI Data

Open AI Data Workspace and Return AI Data to PiP remain accepted compatibility wording, rather than preferred new terminology. Equivalent natural requests to open, show, or return to AI Data are also accepted.

Direct login and authentication wording

Ordinary users should normally start with Open AI Data, because the attached entry flow can handle login when necessary. For explicit login, sign-in, connection, or session-start intent, accepted examples include:

  • AI Data Login
  • ProSimulo AI Data Login
  • Login to AI Data
  • Log in to AI Data
  • Sign in to AI Data
  • Connect to AI Data
  • Connect ProSimulo AI Data
  • Start an AI Data session
  • Start ProSimulo AI Data
  • Establish AI Data access

Equivalent natural login, sign-in, or connect wording is also accepted.

Common requests

Once AI Data is active, describe what you want to do normally. For example:

  • List items.
  • Open the Shamrock item.
  • Add a record that the earrings were cleaned today.
  • Show the recent maintenance records for the house.
  • What was the last fuel purchase for the boat?
  • Change the replacement value of the remote control to $60.
  • Add this receipt to the boat.
  • Save the records in this attached JSON file to my football data item.
  • Compare repair costs for these two properties.
  • Archive the old generator item.
  • List archived items.
  • Restore the old generator item.

ChatGPT Projects are optional

AI Data works fine without a ChatGPT Project. A Project can still be useful when you want to keep related, continuous chats together and preserve working context across those conversations.

If you use a Project, a practical setup is:

  • Project name: ProSimulo AI Data.
  • Memory: Default memory.
  • Keep Library access or automatic Library referencing enabled when your ChatGPT account or workspace provides that control.
  • When practical, continue one primary AI Data chat while it is healthy. Start a new conversation when the existing one exhibits the PiP-active/unavailable stale mismatch described below.

For easier history and sorting, name chats with the chat start date first using yymmdd — topic, for example 260904 — Boat maintenance.

ChatGPT Project memory and chat history are working context. ProSimulo AI Data remains the permanent system of record.

Item context

You usually do not need to name an item when the conversation already makes the intended item clear. ChatGPT can resolve the conversation context and should ask when the intended item is ambiguous.

Review versus change

Use AI Data Web to browse and review stored AI Data. Use ChatGPT to add, edit, import, analyze, archive, restore, delete or otherwise change managed data.

If an existing conversation says AI Data is unavailable

An older ChatGPT conversation can sometimes retain stale app or connection state after AI Data or ChatGPT has changed. This user-visible behavior may occur even when the current AI Data PiP appears active.

Symptoms can include:

  • PiP says AI Data active, but ChatGPT says AI Data or the connection tool is unavailable.
  • Ordinary AI Data requests are refused without the app actually running.
  • Explicitly selecting @ProSimulo AI Data still does not restore operation.
  1. Refresh ChatGPT.
  2. Refresh or reconnect ProSimulo AI Data if ChatGPT provides that control.
  3. Enter Open AI Data again.
  4. Use the attached Open AI Data or Enter ProSimulo AI Data controls as presented.
  5. If PiP becomes active but the existing conversation still says AI Data is unavailable or will not perform AI Data requests, stop retrying in that conversation.
  6. Start a new ChatGPT conversation. If you use a Project, the new conversation can remain in the same Project.
  7. Enter Open AI Data.
  8. Click Enter ProSimulo AI Data when shown.
  9. Repeat the original request.

A new ChatGPT conversation is currently the reliable way to reset stale conversation-level AI Data routing. Refresh or reconnect may help, but is not guaranteed to repair the old conversation. Routinely uninstalling and reinstalling ProSimulo AI Data is not recommended for this symptom.

If ChatGPT hangs or loses its connection

AI Data uses ChatGPT for many conversational operations. Connection, response, client, or other ChatGPT platform interruptions can sometimes occur outside the control of ProSimulo AI Data. An interrupted ChatGPT response does not necessarily mean the underlying AI Data operation failed.

  1. If ChatGPT appears stuck, wait up to about 60 seconds.
  2. If it remains stuck, use Stop generating.
  3. If ChatGPT remains on Thinking or otherwise does not recover, refresh or restart ChatGPT.
  4. After refresh, enter Open AI Data.
  5. If the interrupted action could have changed AI Data, do not repeat the command yet.
  6. Verify the current stored state. AI Data Web lets you do this without creating another ChatGPT conversation turn.
  7. Retry the original change only if the fresh verification shows that it did not occur.

Important: After a ChatGPT interruption, do not rely solely on the success or failure message that appears for the interrupted turn after refresh. If you had already confirmed a Create, Edit, Import, Archive, Restore, Delete, attachment change, record change or other data-changing action, first reopen AI Data and verify the current stored state before repeating it.

A useful recovery request is Check whether my last AI Data action completed. Do not repeat the interrupted action. If you verify in ChatGPT, the verification exchange itself may be stored in AI Data conversation history. To verify stored state without creating another ChatGPT conversation turn, check AI Data Web instead.

If the result still cannot be verified, do not repeat a destructive or irreversible action. Contact support@prosimulo.com and include the action you attempted, the approximate time, what appeared in ChatGPT and, when appropriate, a screenshot. Do not send passwords, access tokens, authorization headers, private download links or full exports of personal managed data.
